Daffodil Day Dream
I love spring flowers so when I saw this set Daffodil Daydream Bundle I had to get it. When you buy the bundle you get 10% off. Get you bundle while supplies last.
The other great thing about this set is you can get the Designer Series Paper (pattern paper) free during Sale-a-bration.
Sale-a-bration continues till February 28.
For every $60 spent you can get one free item. Items from the Annual Stampin' Up Catalogue are also included.
So here is how you make the card.
Base card is thick Basic White 4 1/4" x 11" folded at 5 1/2"
I used a Blending Brush and a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White card stock to make the Polished Pink background, then stamped the daffodil around the edges.
The second layer measures 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" of Basic White card stock covered with a piece of white Vellum embossed with the Timeworn 3D embossing folder.
For the daffodils I took two pieces of Basic White card stock and used the blending brush to apply, So Saffron Ink to one and Daffodil Delight ink to the second one.
The daffodil leaves were die cut from the So Saffron and the flowers from the Daffodil Delight piece to provide a contrast.
With Mossy Meadow ink, and a blending brush I applied ink on to a piece of Basic White card stock for the large green leaves. As shown above.
I used the Happy Birthday from the free Sale-a-bration set Special Moments stamp set, added the butterflies and the Pink Polish loose weave ribbon for decoration.
