Watercolour Card With Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set

IMG 1936

Dandelion Wishes and Watercolour Wash

Here is how you create a watercolour background

1. Cut a piece of watercolour paper or thick Whisper White cardstock at 2 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches

2. On a Stampin' Up long block apply the following three colours directly to the block,
Daffodil Delight ( light yellow), Crushed Curry(dark yellow) and Flarity Flamingo (dark pink). Spray the ink with water using a spray bottle.

3. Place the wet block on the strip of white paper. Hold it down for a few seconds then remove the block. The colours will run into each other and have this lovely effect.
Each time it is done the background is different.

4. Let the ink dry before stamping the images.

5. Choose the images from Dandelion Wishes set and use Memento ink to stamp on the watercolour strip. Sentiments are from To A Wild Rose stamp set.

6. Mount you strip on to another piece of  coloured cardstock measuring 3 x 5 1/2

7. Adhere to to 4 1/4 x 5 1/ 2 black card base.
