The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team - October Blog Hop
Dear Fellow Stampers and Friends~
Welcome to the October Inspirational Blog Hop of The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (TGCDT). Each month we come together from across the globe to share some of our designs and hopefully inspire you to re-create them for yourself.
This month I decided to do a "Step Panel card" using a returning favorite Christmas Bundle, Christmas Gleaming. The paper is just exquisite and really shows off well on the finished card. Of course you can use this design with many different holiday and other occasions just as well. I hope you will enjoy creating this card, and I would love to see photos, so please leave comments. The finished card folds nicely to fit into a regular A2 envelope. I've included some photos to help with the dimensions and assembling the card.

The photo below shows all the different products and dimensions, but there is another photo
below with a closer look at the dimensions.

This photo includes the card stock, dimensions and scoring details.

The below photo shows placement of the DSP on the longer piece of stock, and note the location of the
double sided tape. Tuck the fold with tape under after removing the top layer of tape. Lay flat and adhere, see the next photo.

In the below photo, adhere double sided tape to top flap, which will tuck under. Place another piece of double sided tape just under the card stock at the bottom. Using glue or double sided tape, attach the ribbon pieces to the ornament, then layer the copper tops over it, and using adhesive, attach the ribbon to the back of the copper panel and then adhere the whole piece to the card stock. see the next photo for how it should be assembled.

Adhere dimensionals to the backs of the ornaments and attach to the copper panel.

fold under the flap after removing the adhesive, fold card flat and adhere it. Make sure it is 'straight
and then pull off the paper from the bottom of the panel and adhere to the striped panel.

If desired, make bows and attach with glue dots at the top of each piece of ribbon .

Stamp the sentiment, and attach to the card using dimensionals, add embellishments.
