Another Card from Nature's Harvest
I have really enjoyed using this stamp set. The creative possibilites are endless.
For this card I created a background using blending brushes. These blending brushes are easy to use, and the colours blend easily.
For the middle layer I used the cork paper ( shown below) is part of the suite. You get two 12"x 12" sheet.
I used my Stampin' Up trimmer to cut a piece for my card.
For the focal point of the card I used Stampin'Up's Rectangle Die set. The die I used measures 2 1/4"x 3 1/2".
Place your die on a sheet of white paper and tack it down with removable tape. You want to make sure the rectangle will not move while you are using the blending brushes or sponges to lay down your colours.
I used the following stamp pads, Balmy Blue, Mango Melody, and Pumpkin Pie.
I started with Pumpkin Pie at the bottom and worked my way up. Blended in the next two colours till I was happy with the colouring.
Here is a tip for not getting a big blob of colour on your working piece. Start the colouring on the paper you tacked your rectangle on. It is difficult to remove colour once you lay it down.
Stamp the large flower with Early Expresso ink as shown.
To make the card you will need the following pieces of card stock.
Early Expresso measuring 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" for the base.
Pumpkin Pie measuring 4" x 5 1/4" for the first layer.
A piece of cork speciality paper measuring 3 3/4" x 5" for the second layer.
Very Vanilla measuring 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" for the third layer.
Very Vanilla measuring 4"x 5 1/4" for the inside of the card.
I used the sentiment from the set.

A single forld Z card with Nature's Harvest
For this single Z fold card I used a sketch from Alison Solve, a Canadian based Demonstrator.
When I saw this Harvest Meadow suite in the new Mini Catalouge July to September from Stampin' Up. It was the first item on my pre-order.
The suite includes the Nature's Harvest stamp set and die bundle, a 3D embossing folder, ribbon,Cork Speciality paper, and twelve sheets of 12"x12" pattern paper with six double sided designs. You will love this beautiful paper.
Here is how I made this single Z fold card.
For the base I used Misty Moonlight cut at 4 1/4" x 9", scored and folded at 3 1/2"
Cut another piece of Misty Moonlight at 3 1/4" x 4" for the front of the card
Here are the measurements for the matts and layers .
For the front of the Z fold cut a piece of Basic White card stock at 3 1/4" x 4"
The pattern paper is cut at 3" x 3 3/4"
Adhere these two pieces
1 piece of Basic White card stock cut at 4" x 5 1/4" for the inside of the card
I stamped the large flower in Memento Tuxedo Black and used the matching die from the Harvest
Die set. From the die set I also cut three stalks of wheat.
I lightly sponged a background with Bumblebee ink to have a background for my flowers and stalks.
The flowers are coloured with Calypso Coral ink and the leaves with Soft Succulent.
To completed the card the stalks were glued down.
I used dimensionals for the flower and placed it on the stalks.
The sentiment is from the Art Gallery stamp set.
Hope you give it a go and make this card.
Double Z Fold Card
Fun fold cards are so much fun to make. I watched a number of videos to learn how to make this card.
This is a double fold Z card. I really like the way this has turned out. The pattern paper I used is from the Pansy Petals set. I used the dies and and the flowers from the Colour and Contour Bundle. This is great bundle if you like flower stamp sets like I do. I used the new In Colour ribbon in Fresh Freesia to finish the card. I stamped the flowers using the stamp set and cut them out with the dies from the set.
For the base card I used Soft Succulent card stock measuring 4 1/4 x 11 inches
It is scored on the long side at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2 inches. Fold the card at the 5 1/2 inch score line.
At the 2 3/4 inch score line make a mountain fold as shown in the picture above. Move it aside to make the second small Z fold for the inside.
The small Z fold use a strip of Soft Succulent card stock measuring 2 inches x 11 inches.
Scored at 5 1/2 and 2 3/4 inches. Make a reverse Z fold card
Here are the measurements for the mats and layers for the base card. A piece of Basic White card stock measuring 4 x 2 1/2 inches and a piece of pattern paper 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 inches. Layer and adhere these two pieces together for the front of the card and set aside.
For the inside, a piece of Basic White card stock measuring 5 1/4 x 4 inches and a piece of pattern paper 5 x 3 3/4 inches. Adhere these together. Glue to inside of card as shown.
For the inside fold, a piece of Basic White card stock measuring 1 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches, and pattern paper 1 1/2 x 5 inches.
Glue these pieces together and adhere to the long piece that measures 5 1/2 x 2 inches. This will be the front.
Also cut two pieces measuring 2 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches. One piece of pattern paper measuring 1 1/2 x 5. Glue on to the next panel. The last panel will have a white layer for the message.
Stamp and cut out the flowers on Basic White card stock using the dies. Also cut out the one scolloped rectangle dies measuring
3 3/4 x 2 1/2i inches and a smaller one measuring 3 1/8 x 1 7/8. If you don't have the dies just cut the rectangles out.
We are ready to assemble the card
The long piece of the smaller Z fold card is the front of the card. Turn the small Z fold card over and apply glue to the flat piece and the piece that is folded. Open the base card flat, place the long piece in front and the short piece to the end of the base card and you will have you Double fold Z Card. See pictures at the bottom.
Decorate as shown.
