January Blog Hop Thank You Card


The Rainbow of Happiness is one of my favourite set in the new Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up
The Mini Catalogue is avaliable from January - June 2022

For the card base I used Fresh Freesia cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" .
Layered with a piece of pattern paper from Pansy Petals pattern paper from the Annual Stampin' Up catalogue, cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
I cut the large rainbow die from the Brilliant Rainbow Dies in Basic White measuring 4" x 5 1/4"
Flirty Flamingo, Bermuda Bay, Mint Macron and Fresh Freesia card stock was used to cut the strips for the rainbow.
The clouds were punched with the Cloud Punch out of pattern paper from the Sunshine and Rainbows pattern paper.
This is one of the free Sale-a-bration Items. I love this beautiful pack of paper.
For the sentiment strip I used the Rectangle Stitched Dies.

Rainbow of Happiness

I started my card by creating 4 1/4" x 11" card base in Flirty Flamingo. Layered the front of the card with the piece of
4 1/4" x 5 1/2" pattern paper from the Sunshine and Rainbows Collection.
I die cut a rectangle in Basic White measuring 3" x 4 3/8" from the Rectangle Stitcherd Framelit Dies for the front of the card.
For the rainbows I use Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo and So Saffron card stock, and the Brilliant Rinbow Dies. The scolloped edge was also cut from the die set using brushed gold card stock.
The sentiment was embossed with white embossing powder on a rectangle strip of So Saffron.
The inside was completed with a piece of basic white card stock cut at 4" X 5 1/4" with a 1/2 " piece of pattern paper attached to the bottom.

December Blog Harvest Meadow

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up Demonstrator Blog Hop.
For my customer Thank You card I am featuring Harvest Meadow Suite, from the Stampin' Up July-December 2021 Mini catalogue. This catalogue expires at the end of December. This is my favourite bundle from the catalogue.

I used the Harvest Meadow Suite to make this card.
Soft Succulent from the, In Colour Collection from Stampin' Up for the 2021- 2023 years.
It is cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Cork Speciality Paper for my first layer, cut at 4" x 5 1/2"
I used the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder with Shimmer Vellum in Soft Succulent, cut at 3 3/4" x 5"
Using the second largest circle form the Layering Circle Dies set.I stamped the largest image from the Nature's Harvest stamp set in Memento Black ink.
Coloured the image with Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake and So Succulent Stampin' Blends.
I used a piece of Crumb Cake and the sentiment die from the die set to stamp the Thank You.
I used Brushed Metallic Dots from the suite to complete the card.

I am sharing this card made with the Whimsy and Wonder pattern paper and the Encircled in Warmth stamp set from the July to December Mini Catalogue 2021. I used the die set Encircled in Beauty from the Stampin' Up Annual catalogue.

Here are the measurements for the card:
Blushing card stock cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scores at 4 1/4"
Pattern Paper from the Whimsy and Wonder pack cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere the pattern paper to the front of the card.
Another piece of pattern paper from the same pack that measures 2 1/4" x 4"
Adhere that piece to the front of the card as shown.
A scrap piece Smoky Slate card stock to die cut the small die.
A piece of silver foil to die cut the larger die.
A scrap piece of basic white and the layering Circle dies for the sentiment.

I finished the inside of the card with a sentiment from the stamp set Christmas to Remember.
This a simple but very elegant Christmas card that any one will be excited to receive.
