Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper Card

I love how this card turned out. I used the beautiful free Designer Paper from the SALE-a-bration. This paper is available till the end of February.
For this card I used three different pieces of Designer Paper. This paper makes great cards.
I used Basic White thick card stock for the base.
The first layer is Flirty Flamingo card stock.
I used a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Designer Paper from the Daffodil Afternoon pack, layered with another piece
measuring 2 1/2"x 5 1/4"
The third layer measures 1 1/2"x 4"
I stamped the daffodil with Memento Black Ink on a piece of vellum measuring 4 1/8" x 2 1/2". I let it dry before I coloured is with Light Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Light Old Olive.
The birthday sentiment is from Peaceful Moments stamped on a Scolloped Contour Die

Daffodil Day Dream
I love spring flowers so when I saw this set Daffodil Daydream Bundle I had to get it. When you buy the bundle you get 10% off. Get you bundle while supplies last.
The other great thing about this set is you can get the Designer Series Paper (pattern paper) free during Sale-a-bration.
Sale-a-bration continues till February 28.
For every $60 spent you can get one free item. Items from the Annual Stampin' Up Catalogue are also included.
So here is how you make the card.
Base card is thick Basic White 4 1/4" x 11" folded at 5 1/2"
I used a Blending Brush and a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White card stock to make the Polished Pink background, then stamped the daffodil around the edges.
The second layer measures 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" of Basic White card stock covered with a piece of white Vellum embossed with the Timeworn 3D embossing folder.
For the daffodils I took two pieces of Basic White card stock and used the blending brush to apply, So Saffron Ink to one and Daffodil Delight ink to the second one.
The daffodil leaves were die cut from the So Saffron and the flowers from the Daffodil Delight piece to provide a contrast.
With Mossy Meadow ink, and a blending brush I applied ink on to a piece of Basic White card stock for the large green leaves. As shown above.
I used the Happy Birthday from the free Sale-a-bration set Special Moments stamp set, added the butterflies and the Pink Polish loose weave ribbon for decoration.

Birthday Card with Friendly Hello Set
This is a CASED card form the SALE-a-bration brochure with a few differences.
The base card is Fresh Freesia measuring 4 1/4" x 11"
I lined my card with another pieces of Fresh Freesia measuring 4" x 5 1/4"
To create the background, I used the small flower stamp from the set and Fresh Freesia ink.
For the front of the card I used the second largest scolloped die and the Designer Series Paper from the Friendly Hello Paper Pack.
The images are stamped on Basic White scolloped die cut. These dies are from the Colour and Contour set from the
Stampin' Up Annual catalogue.
I heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of Black Card stock using White Stampin'Emboss' powder.
To finish the card I added purls.

Friendly Hello Card
I fell in love with the paper and stamp set as soon as I saw it in the Sale-a-bration brochure. The set and the pattern paper are both free with a qualifying order.
Part of the card is cased from the Sale-a-bration brouchure.
I started with a Petal Pink base card measuring 4 / 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2"
The front is layered with a piece of Pattern Paper measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" from the Friendly Hello pack. All the paper in this pack is gorgeous.
On a piece of vellum measuring 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" I stamped the double flowers, leaves and the smaller flowers using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I used the Heat Tool to dry the Memento ink so that it would not smudge on the vellum
The bird image is also stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a piece of basic white card stock. The image is coloured with Pool Party and Petal Pink Stampin' Blends. I then fussy cut the image twice to give it more demention.
The sentiment from the stamp set says HELLO friend, I used the HELLO only. To do this I used the masking technique.
I also added extra layers to add demention to the sentiment.
To finish the card I attached a piece of Fresh Freesia ribbon to the front of the card.
Glued the stamped vellum piece on the ribbon and used Stampin' Dimensionals to attache the bird image.
