Hello fellow stampers and friends~
Welcome to June! Those of us in the LGBTQ community and friends celebrate our history officially during the month of June. During this month we remember the struggle ,those we have lost to violence, the AIDS epidemic, and celebrate the freedoms we have today. Actually I decided to start making cards because I found it is very difficult to find cards commercially that are specific to same sex couples, especially in our small town. So as a guy who makes cards, I decided to create some and share them on my blog.
Do you happen to know what the colors of the Rainbow flag represent? Today there are six colors, but the original flag had eight. Over time due to availability of fabric colors, it was reduced to six. Red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for harmony and purple for spirit. I love learning something new, hope you do as well. So thanks for staying with me . Now let's get to it!
Hello fellow stampers and friends~
I am really excited about the product I am featuring in this card tutorial this evening. Its in the newest Stampin Up! Catalog that just became available for ordering yesterday, but I was able to pre-order some things about a month ago, and the "Tasteful Touches" stamp set was one of them. There is also a die set "Tasteful Labels" but I am not using any of them in this project, but it is a very robust set and will be useful to add to your collection.
I am featuring designer series paper from two suites, "In Good Taste" and "World of Good" I've included a photo of the card templates, and the video will walk you through how to make the cards. I hope you enjoy!
I don't know about you but it's been a busy couple of weeks for me. I have been spending a lot more time in my studio creating AND I have committed myself to at least two live videos a week. I love it, but it does take some extra time planning the projects. So I apologize for posting videos without all the accompanying directions and templates.
I really love the new catalog and I'm featuring items from the "Forever Greenery Suite" in this tutorial.
The Forever Fern Cling Stamp set, Forever Flourishing Dies and Forever Greenery designer series paper is gorgeous!
Thank you for checking out my blog today. Of course Stampin Up! has a new 2020 catalog and today is the first day that all of us are able to order from the entire catalog! As demonstrators we had a period of time in which we could pre-order parts of the catalog, but a very small amount, so our excitement is very very high today!
Earlier I did a live video and walked thru the catalog, pointing out highlights, orienting everyone to the layout, and showed some of the projects I have done with some of the items I was able to Pre-Order.
Grab a coffee or your favorite beverage and click on the video below and share in the excitement!
