Everything Is Rosy, Thank You Card

This beautiful thank you card is made with the Everything is Rosy Product Suite. The Suite includes stamps, dies, Designer Series Paper (DSP) in several different prints, rose gold foil card stock, Night of Navy gold-trimmed ribbon, punch out labels and floral bouquets, and, rose gold shimmer paint. You simply add ink, card stock and adhesive!

You will need the following tools for this project: paper trimmer, scoreboard, scissors, bone folder, die cutting machine, and small paint brush.

For the base of the card you will need a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock cut to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", a piece of Whisper White card stock cut to 4 1/8 x 5 1/4", a medium envelope, Tombow Multi Liquid Glue or Stampin' Up's Tear & Tape, mini glue dots, and dimensionals.

Step 1: Using your scoring tool, score the Melon Mambo card stock on the long side at 4 1/4". Fold your card on the score line and use your bone folder to reinforce your fold.

Step 2: Using the Night of Navy ribbon included, cut a piece 4 1/8" and a second piece 7 1/2" long. A bottle of Rose Gold Shimmer Paint is included. Use your fine tipped paint brush, brush a small bit of paint on the end of each ribbon. I did this to keep the ribbon from fraying while I manipulated it on the card; it added a little more pizzazz as well.  While you have your paint and brush out, choose a floral bouquet from the punch outs in the DSP included. Add just a little paint around the edges to lessen the impact of the white edges, and add a little bit around some of the leaves, and perhaps a dot or two in the center of the flowers. Set the ribbon and flower aside to dry.

Step3: Choose two different patterns of DSP from the package, along with one sheet of the rose gold foil, and one label from the punch outs included with your paper. Cut one piece of DSP to 3 1/4" x 4", and cut the piece from the second pattern to 2 1/4" x 4". Using the decorative edge die included in the Suite, cut three lengths of the rose gold foil.

Step 4: Adhere the smaller piece of DSP to the top, front of the card using either the Tombow or tape. Leave 1/8" space above and on each side of this piece. Now attach the shorter piece of ribbon to the bottom edge of this DSP running it lengthwise from left to right.

Step 5: Now attach one piece of the decorative die cut to the underside, top edge of the larger piece of DSP with the decorative edge sticking up and out from the paper. Center the foil piece on the DSP and trim any excess from each end. Save those trim pieces for use on the envelope. Now glue or tape this piece of DSP butting it up to the bottom of the first piece. The foil trim should overlap the ribbon on the upper piece. There should be 1/8" space below and on both sides of this last piece as well.

Step 6: Holding the longest piece of ribbon right side up, with one end in each hand. Cross one end over the other to form a "support ribbon". The top of the ribbon should remain up. Glue the top piece over the other with a glue dot, then attach it to the left side of the card over the foil and ribbon trim. Now attach the floral bouquet over the center of the ribbon "bow" with dimensionals, leaving a bit of the top and the tails showing.

Step 7: Using a Night of Navy ink pad and the Thank You stamp from the Suite, stamp in the center of the label. Attach this sentiment with dimensionals to the upper right hand of the card. To the inside, right hand side of the card, adhere the white card stock to create your signature page, leaving equal edges on all four sides. Now adhere the foil trim pieces on the left and right sides of the card stock with the fancy side facing in on both sides. Trim as needed.

Step 8: Using the Night of Navy ink and the stamp that is a tiny cluster of flowers, stamp some on the bottom left side of the envelope front. Clean your stamp, and using Melon Mambo ink stamp more of the little flowers with the Navy ones. If you have little pieces of the foil leaves left from the die cut, add them to the flowers on the envelope. If you prefer, you could stamp and adhere the leaves to the flap of the envelope.
